Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of delights and disappointments. The rooms were exquisitely clean and comfortable, overlooking the golf course, but the amenities felt a bit outdated. On the bright side, we were pleasantly surprised when we found chocolate covered strawberries and champagne waiting for us in the room, which was a lovely touch; however, the overall room decor felt lacking in modern updates.
The hotel is not up to 5-star standards and is overpriced for what it offers. The property is badly located on the golf course, and the room only had one bathroom. However, the large lanai with views of Makaluapuna Point and DT Fleming beach was a highlight for watching sunrises and sunsets.
The Ritz Kapalua offers very spacious and beautifully decorated rooms that had plenty of room for our family. The service, while most staff were not very enthusiastic, did go above and beyond in some instances. The location is lovely with great amenities, but the strong winds can be a downside. The dining experience was impressive with local specialties, albeit a bit pricey. Overall, a comfortable stay with some exceptional features but with a few areas for improvement.
The hotel had some drawbacks like no overhead lighting in the rooms, dust in various areas, and slow access to floors, but it also excelled in service with extremely courteous staff. The location was pleasant, with pools for both adults and kids, and the dining experience offered beautiful views, though the quality varied.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room had a nice partial ocean view, but it felt a bit outdated. The service was a mix of friendly interactions and some disinterested moments. The location was lovely, on the grounds of an old pineapple plantation, but required a 10-minute walk through boring traditional hotel corridors. The dining experience was a real treat with fantastic food and shakes. Overall, it was a decent stay with some room for improvement.
Our stay was a mix of delight and disappointment. The rooms were nicely updated in 2018 with a thoughtful touch of chocolates and champagne, but the amenities like the pools felt dated. The service was top-notch, going above and beyond, especially with the kind gesture of a complementary pass to the fitness center. The location was spacious and private, perfect for our family with a light sleeper. The dining experience had its highs and lows, with a great local specialty focus but also running out of croissants early. The facilities were adequate, with room for improvement in updating certain areas.
